Teresa Ann Windsor

Windsor, Teresa "Terri" A., 84, retired USD 259 Elementary School Teacher, dismounted for the final time and hung her cowgirl tack up, June 16, 2018. She was a dedicated elementary school teacher who loved helping the children that she taught. She not only worked for the Wichita school district, but also subbed for Clearwater, Goddard, and Maize schools. She enjoyed crafting; she handmade dishtowels that she would sell at craft shows. Her true passion in retirement was spending time volunteering and teaching riding lessons to children at C-Arrow Stables. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy D., parents, Charles and Elizabeth Cherry; brothers, Jack and Charles; sister, Betty McLaughlin; and grandson, Caleb Jones. She is survived by daughter, Linda (Jones) Flager; son, Linn (Nancy) Jones; grandchildren, Aaron Jones, Jeff Flager, Stephanie Myers, and Daniel Jones; five great-grandchildren; as well as three nieces and three nephews. Terri's funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Thurs. June 21, 2018, at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice Care and the Kansas Humane Society.
