

Twyla was born on September 6, 1932 in Mannford, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Paul and Vera Zuck.
Twyla was a beloved Associate Professor teaching Science in the College of Education at Wichita State University for 42 years, retiring at the age of 75. Her passion was sharing the joy of science with teachers and children. Twyla will be enshrined in the WSU College of Education Hall of Fame this fall.
Twyla was also a devoted wife and caregiver to her late husband, Kenneth. They were married for 57 years. Twyla loved attending her grandchildren's ball games, rarely missing an event. Twyla also dearly loved her miniature sheepadoodle, Bella. Bella was her faithful companion that made Twyla smile and laugh every day.
Twyla's survivors include children Linnel Sherman, David Sherman, and Tami (Scott) Kincaid. Grandchildren Shawn (Andrianna) Sherman, Jeremiah Sherman, Hayley Sherman, Amber Sherman, Trisha (Jerry) Kincaid, Austin (Sarah) Kincaid, Kari (Martin) Miller. Great grandchildren Weston, Karli, and Jovie Wilkins, Ty and Zoey Kincaid, Bennett, Baker and Madley Miller, Taylor, Grace, Anna, Kaylynn, Penelope, and Jax Sherman.
