Atherton, Wanda Faye (Reust), 80, passed away on Jan. 13, 2016 in Arlington, TX. She was born on May 2, 1935 in Isabella, OK, daughter of Gilbert & Minnie (Wahl) Reust. She is preceded in death by her love-of-her-life husband, Gordon L. Atherton, parents, Gilbert & Minnie Reust; and sister Mary Arnold Gisick. She is survived by 2 sons, Marvin D. Atherton of Dacula, GA, and Russell K. Atherton of Arlington, TX, daughter-in-law Cynthia L. Atherton, and beloved grandson, Adam R. Atherton of Dacula, GA; sisters, Velma Naber of Peyton, CO, Carol Wall of Wichita and Peggy Saltkill of Kinsley, KS. Visitation will be 7-8:30pm on Fri. Jan. 15, 2016 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita, KS. Funeral services will be 10am on Sat. Jan. 16, 2016 at New Hope Christian Church, 1400 S. George Washington Dr., Wichita, KS. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita.
