I met Wanda about 10 years ago playing bingo, she was such an inspiration to so many. She was such a beautiful lady with a gorgeous smile. I cant believe she is gone. God take care of our Wanda for us, she was truly an Angel to so many. We will miss you Ms Wanda..

My prayers go out to the family.I am still in shock at the news that Wanda has crossed over. Wanda and I met as teens when she lived on 10th & Volutsia with her mom and her sister Pat. I have not seen or had contact with her in years but when I read the other comments I see she never lost her sense of style,and that beautiful head of hair ,never out of place. I know she loved her family very deeply,especially her son Antoine,she was always so proud of him.  Again my deepest and heartfelt sympathies.

I remember Ms. Wanda's infectious laugh and smile. She just seemed to have a light beaming from her. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers go out to my dear friend Antione and the entire family.

My sincere condolences go out to the family, especially over this holiday season.  I worked at Wesley Medical Center where Wanda worked in the Gift Shop.  We would often talk on breaks and I will never forget that big beautiful smile that she ALWAYS had on her face as will many others.  To the family, know that weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning.  In the meantime, please allow the Comforter to hold you and catch your tears.  Have no doubt that our Lord and Savior has called another one of his angels home and while right now, it seems that the family circle is broken, know that her spirit will always surround you and the family chain will link back together in His time.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

It's nice to know that the last impression you had of someone over 30 plus years ago, still is true today.  Reading Wanda's guestbook speaks loudly and is a testimony of the wonderful person Wanda was. And the picture gallery brought back precious memories. Patricia was one of my best friends and of course Wanda was like a sister. Sorry to hear of your loss and my prayers are with you!

My sister and I called her Aunt Wanda! She wasn't really our aunt but she was like one to us! I met her thru my mother! She was a sweet and caring person! She will be truly MISSED! She always had that smile on her face! We love you Aunt Wanda! Kee'Adrian, Shaunte', Wana and "Q"!

Wanda was such a gift!  I didn't know her name, but knew exactly who my friend was talking about when she told me that Wanda had passed away.  Wanda and I shared a purse fetish.  I have missed her and the warmth she shared at the gift shop. The shop was filled with her personality and has been stark and barren since she left.  May your memories be filled with her love and presence and may you continue to share the warmth she so wonderfully shared with us.

I met Wanda at my sisters Bingo parlor, she was always so friendly to everyone she met . She had a radient smile that was contagious , you couldn't help but smile with her no matter what mood you were in. I use to tease her because everytime I seen her she would be carrying a differant purse , she did like her purses. Aunt Wanda have been around me for a long time and she will be miss. Aunt Wanda it hurt to say good bye as I sit here and cry knowing that your in a better places put a smile on my face.
