Wayne served in the US Army, having earned the rank of Staff Sergeant.
He worked for Steven Chrysler, Acura of Wichita and Koch Industries for many years. He enjoyed reading, collecting model trains, guns and was a WWII enthusiast.
Preceded in death by his parents and infant brother Randy. Survived by his brother Harold (Patricia) Huxman, sisters Elaine Huxman, Lois (Roger) Burnham, nephew Jerrod Huxman, great niece Rylee, niece Kristina (Kris) Squires, great nieces Maggie, Natalie, great nephew Jonathan, niece Amanda (Curtis) Kolle, niece Belinda Burnham and niece Chelsea (Derek) Kilmer, great nephews and nieces Karson (Renee) Kolle, Nikko, Micah and Ashlynn Kolle.
Visitation will be from 9:30 am to 10:30am with the Funeral Service to be held at 10:30am on Friday, December 22, 2023 at Cornerstone Bible Church, 2535 N. Amidon Ave, Wichita, KS 67204 with burial to take place at 2:00 pm at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, KS.
