He was preceded in death by his son, Edward D. McGilvrey. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Louise; daughters, Linda Bock, Eudora, KS, Dr. Cindy Cisneros McGilvrey, Wichita, KS; sister, Marilyn Green of Oklahoma City, OK; grandchildren, Alexa McDermott, Atlanta, GA, Zachary McDermott, New York City, NY, Adam McDermott, Wichita, KS, Amelia Bock, St. Louis, MO; and great granddaughter, Corryn Jordan McDermott.
Rosary, 7pm, Friday, December 27th, 2013 and Funeral Mass, 10am, Saturday, December 28, 2013, both at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery.
