Alvin passed peacefully following a rapid battle with an inoperable brain tumor.
Left to cherish his memory are his five children: Lewis, Brooks, Lisa, Matt, and Jay along with their spouses; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren as well as his brothers & sister, Victor, Kenneth, Sue & Dan Lowery.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17th from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at National Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, July 18th at 11:AM with interment to directly follow, also at National Funeral Home & Memorial Park.
In Lieu of Flowers the family requests Memorial Donations be made to Occoquan-Woodbridge-Lorton Volunteer Fire Department, Hospice of Marion County or the American Cancer Society.
