

Bernice was born May 3rd, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the first of three children born to Fred and Bernice Zapp Fergen. Bernice has survived both her siblings, Robert and Mary. And, she just recently celebrated her 98th birthday.
She spent most of her life in Wisconsin with a short time in Arizona early in her marriage to Henry St Louis. They had three children, Patrice (Jon) Rue, Robert (Elise) St. Louis and Margaret (Chris) Chevrier who are currently living in Maryland, Texas and Florida.
Later in her life she remarried to George Wagner and George Dehler. Bernice survived all spouses and now has three grandchildren (Caitlin St. Louis Delano, Chris St. Louis, Cailey Chevrier Malone, and three great grandchildren (William & Landon Delano, Emerie Malone).
Bernice’s profession was as a Traffic Manager for Nestle’s for more than 30 years. She had great organizational skills and was primarily responsible for transporting ingredients from all over the US to Nestle’s in Jefferson, Wisconsin. She personally loved traveling and that enjoyment enriched her knowledge and her abilities in her working career. She loved life and it was filled with activities and family. Her final years in the Villages, playing cards, golf and other activities brought her great happiness and wonderful friends.
She will be tremendously missed.
A Celebration of Life for Bernice will be held on Monday, June 1, 2026, with a service beginning at 11:00 AM at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center, 7134 Powell Road Wildwood, FL.
