

Terry Seiler passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 78, in The Villages, FL. He was born in Uniontown, PA to Charles (Bud) and Beverly Seiler. Terry was a devoted husband to his high school sweetheart, Marcie Grimes-Seiler, for 57 years of marriage, and a loving father to his daughters Terri Grijalva and her husband Robbie and Jean Bonifacio and her husband Conrad. He was blessed to be the grandfather to Taylor, Megan (Nick), Bailey, Katie and Ryan and was a beloved Uncle to 9 nieces and nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie Seiler. Terry attended St. Anselm High School and later pursued higher education at Seminole College, Sanford, FL and the University of Phoenix. He proudly served in the US Navy for 3 and 1/2 years during the Vietnam War era as an Aviation Mechanic at Andrews Air Force Base and continued his service in the US Navy Reserves for an additional two years. Following his military service, Terry embarked on a successful career in telephony working at Winter Park Telephone and Northern Telecom and eventually retiring from Overhead Door in Texas. His work took him from Florida, Canada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, California, Texas and finally back to Florida upon his retirement Outside of his professional life, Terry had a passion for sports and played recreational softball, basketball and racquetball. He remained lifelong friends with his fellow St. Anselm classmates and the members of the Diocesan Championship winning high school baseball team. In his retirement he enjoyed golfing until a recent illness sidelined him. He loved his family and friends; baseball; golf; traveling; Maui cinnamon rolls; country gravy on biscuits; Peppermint Patties; salt on his watermelon; John Wayne movies; Sudoku puzzles; history; and, any song by the Beatles. He was also an avid and devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Dignity Memorial Life Celebration Center. Military honors will be held at 4:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, 1:00 PM at Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 5323 E County Rd 462, Wildwood, FL. A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following Mass at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, StJude.org, a charity that was near to Terry's heart.
Terry's presence will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
