Billy B. Jones

Billy B. Jones (65) of Willard, died August 18, 2014 in an auto/motorcycle accident in Shelby. He was born December 14, 1948 in Lackey, KY to the late Ola and Davane (Collins) Jones. Billy served in the Marines during the Vietnam Era and was employed at R.R. Donnelley for 44 years. He attended the Church of the Nazarene, was a member of the Marine Corp League, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycle, the ROMEO’s at Country Kitchen, and spending time with the grandchildren and their sports programs.

Billy is survived by his wife: Shirley (Shafer) Jones who he married January 25, 1968, 2 daughters: Nadine (Sean) Endsley and Michele (Linc) Feltner, both of Willard, son: Curtis (Tonya) Jones of New Washington. 7 grandchildren: Laura, Amber, Emily, Taylor, Kameron, Bren and Kora, 5 great grandchildren: Mason, Kadance, Xavior, Kylee, and Hyram. 4 brothers: Jim Jones, of Shelby, Ernie Jones of KY, Larry Jones of Willard and Ola Jones Jr. of Willard and 8 sisters: Sally Hoteling of KY, Judy Sampson of Willard, Cordi Gilmore of WY, Tessie Webb of KY, Ola Ann Ellis of KY, Mary Jane McKinney of KY, Wanda Vantu of Willard and Sharon Moore of KY. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 22, 2014 at Church of the Nazarene, 4414 Township Road 12 West, Willard. Friends may call 2-8 P.M. Thursday at the church. Interment will be held at Attica-Venice Township Cemetery, Attica. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Fund through the funeral home.
