Clara A Hauser-Lahr

Clara A. Hauser-Lahr (90) of Florida, formerly of Willard, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 in Florida. She was born in rural Willard to the late August and Frieda (Fahnle) Bauerle. Mrs. Hauser-Lahr attended school at Richmond School, Willard High School, and Lukes School of Nursing in Cleveland, Ohio.

She was a school nurse of the Willard School for many years, also was organist for Trinity Lutheran Church, a member of various boards in Huron County including Salvation Army, Board of Health, Huron County Health Council and Hillside Acres Nursing Home.

She and her husband Robert, moved to port Richey FL in 1979 were she was active in Choraliers of Timber Oaks and choirs at King of Kings Lutheran church as well as a member of church council, Sunday School and Bible School Teacher, assistant organist and choir director. When her husband Robert died in 1992 she was a very active volunteer for hospice.

She is survived by her daughter: Carol (Gary) Holden of Vermillion, daughter-in-law: Edith Hauser of Cincinnati, 6 grandchildren,6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband: Robert Hauser, second husband: John Lahr, son: Richard Hauser and 2 brothers: Otto and Richard Bauerle.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Janet Wittenmyer officiating. Friends may call Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the Church. The staff of the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave. Willard assisted the family with arrangements.
