Glen A. Boeve

Glen A. Boeve (75) of Willard, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Toledo. He was born October 6, 1940 in Holland, MI to the late Gerrit and Louisa (Lemmon) Boeve. Mr. Boeve was a master carpenter and was involved in prison ministry for over 11 years. He enjoyed golfing, horses, woodworking and singing country and gospel music. Mr. Boeve was a loyal, loving husband, father and friend and loved to laugh.

Mr. Boeve is survived by his wife of 42 years, Emily (Swanger) Boeve. 4 daughters: Judy Lynema of Hamilton, MI, Jackie (Larry) Kroeze of Hamilton, MI, Lori-Ann Tackett and Denice (Ken) Burkhalter, both of Willard. 3 sons: Douglas Boeve of Elverson, PA, David (Roz) Boeve of Holland, MI, and John (Delia) Plato of Bradenton, FL. 30 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. Sister: Lorraine VanDenBelt of Holland, MI and multiple nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, son: Leo S. Plato and brother: LaVern Boeve.

Friends may call from 2pm – 4pm Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home.
