Helen Mary Austin

A graduate of Attica High School, Class of 1943. A graduate ( Cadet Nurse)

of Maumee Valley School of Nursing, Toledo, OH, Class of 1946.

She worked for Dr. Robert Cahill, in Attica for 13 years as Office Nurse, and Willard Area Hospital (Mercy Hospital) for 24 years, retiring in 1983.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Pat Hamilton, of IN,

a son & daughter in-law James & Elaine Hamilton of Amhurst, OH

A sister Geraldine Durfey, of Huron, OH

Nieces, Nephews , numerous Grand & Great Grandchildren and her faithful companion Tina her dog of 18 year.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gordon Miller Austin in 1996, her parents, a sister (Dorothy Flood) and brother Robert Hornett, step children & grandchildren.

Friends may call Wednesday, May 27, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Lindsey Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard, OH. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at First United Methodist Church, 401 East Howard Street, Willard, OH. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Willard. The family request donations to Huntington’s in lieu of flowers in honor of Midge, Dwayne, Jerald & Carol Austin through the funeral home.
