Larry Stein

Larry Stein, Sr., 72, of Willard passed away Tuesday night at MedCentral Health Systems in Mansfield. He was born February 3, 1939 in Bucyrus the son of Harold and Hazel (Shank) Stein. After graduating high school, Larry entered the US Navy and proudly served his country for 5 years. He later married Rose (Phillips) Stein on December 10, 1975 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Willard. He loved the outdoors and especially liked going fishing with his friends and family. Larry also enjoyed working on cars, reading westerns and watching wrestling and basketball.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Rose (Phillips) Stein, three daughters, and three sons. Laurie (Stein) Hankins of Willard, Debbie Dickey of Ogden, UT, Tina Deshasier of Douglas, WY, Larry Stein Jr,. and Brian Stein, both of Willard, and David Jenson of New Castle, WY. Larry also has 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8PM at Lindsey-Kocher Funeral Service, 323 Myrtle Ave, Willard. Funeral services will be Monday at 11AM at the funeral home.
