

Born in Gloucester, VA, on September 19, 1945, Beverly was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Hudson Hudgins, parents, brother, and twin sister.
She treasured her times with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, neighbors, church family, and other special family members.
Beverly is survived by her daughters, Anita Taylor (Keith), Kathy Parnell (Tony), and Christy Zumbrun (Matt); six grandchildren, Amanda Taylor, David Parnell (Naomi), Dillion Parnell (Stephanie), Melinda Parnell, Logan Zumbrun, and Christian “CJ” Zumbrun; as well as three great-grandchildren, Charlotte Parnell, Jeremiah Parnell, Jaxson McGirt. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Beverly worked in real estate for several years before retiring from The College of William & Mary and Busch Gardens International Village after many years of committed service.
The family would like to express their extreme gratitude and appreciation for all the love and support from her close friends and church family. A special thank you goes out to the Williamsburg Sentara Medical Center’s ICU physicians and medical staff.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 16 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at William & Mary’s Miller Hall. A graveside service will be held at Williamsburg Memorial Park on Monday, April 17 at 1:00 pm and she will be laid to rest following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the York County Fire Department. Please indicate donation is in memory of Beverly Hudgins.
