

Bill (“Tex”) Hull McKinnon, passed away late on the 30th of May, in the company of his wife and kids in Williamsburg, VA. There will be a memorial service on Sunday, June 3rd, 3:00pm at Williamsburg Community Chapel, with a reception to follow.
Tex was born in 1946 in Lamesa, Texas to William Kirk McKinnon and Bobbie Dee Hull McKinnon. He attended Cooper High School in Abilene Texas, and later played football and graduated from The College of William and Mary. Post-graduation, he served in the Navy and retired as Commander in the Naval Reserves. He served in both the Vietnam War and First Gulf War.
He was a banking executive and earned his law degree at William and Mary. Tex spent the last 20 years practicing law in Williamsburg, and being an active member of the Williamsburg Community Chapel where he recently served on the Elder Board. He was involved serving in the community through many capacities. He was a committed follower of Jesus Christ and his faith was of utmost importance.
After battling cancer for the last 4 years, he quietly passed away surrounded by his precious family. Tex is survived by his wife Debbie McKinnon; his 3 kids; Hull McKinnon (Porter) of Denver, Garrett McKinnon (Robin) of Tampa and Catherine McKinnon (Chuck) of Seattle; and his 8 grandkids. He is also survived by his brother, Ted McKinnon; nieces, Amy, Taylor (Ian) and Leigh Yaklin (Justin) all residing in Texas; as well as 3 great-nieces and nephews.
