He was born April 3, 2004, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Although we was blessed to enjoy him nearly twenty-one years, sadly he fell asleep in death, on March 12, 2025, shortly before his twenty-first birthdate. Therefore, leaving behind countless fond memories of him.
As a child, Bradley was so full of life and wonder. Actually he was really quite a character, which kept us all on our toes, on account of not knowing what he would say next. The title ‘old soul’, suited him quite well, simply because at times you would have to remind yourself and him too, that he was still just a child. What a personality!
Even though he struggled with asthma, there was a period where he participated in sports, like soccer and football. He also enjoyed traveling, eating out or simply being with family and friends. He had a passion for dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures, to the point of knowing their names, their habits, and things like whether they were vegetarians or not.
His life, however, began to take a drastic turn as he started to lose the ones he dearly loved. The first being his uncle and buddy, Emerson Reid. Later it was his Auntie Melvina Kelly, closely followed by his precious grandmother, Rachel Reid. Then his dearly beloved Auntie Bonita Reid and Uncle Pernell Reid Jr. To lose so many family members in death in such a short time can be very devastating and leave its mark on anyone, especially a child.
Without a doubt he was very close to his mother, Lenora Gina Reid. However, experiencing these losses, brought them both even closer, and made him more protective of her. That’s what made him such an awesome son. Often times they would prepare meals together or take turns. He was such a loving and caring helper to her in so many ways.
Needless to say, Bradley will be dearly missed not just by his mother, his remaining Uncle Clifton and Auntie Joyce Washington and lots of family and friends, including his buddies that would pick him up so he could hang with the guys. He loved it!
More importantly, studying God’s Word the Bible with Jehovah’s Witnesses, helped him to ease his pain. It allowed him to find a measure of peace and comfort. Thus, providing hope as well as a deeper understanding of very basic questions. Like, why do good people die? What is the condition of the dead? Will we see our loved ones again? If so, how?
It was those Bible based answers that touched him. Therefore, he knew what was in store, because “God cannot lie.” (Titus 1:2)
Lenora Gina Reid and Family, would like to send a heartfelt
