Christopher “Chris” Curtis Chamberlain, age 48, passed away suddenly on March 6, 2025. Chris was born November 26, 1976 in Sacramento, California to Paul and Jane Chamberlain. He is survived by his mother, Jane and stepfather, Scott Klocker; as well as 2 siblings, Angelina and Robert.
Chris graduated from Ferndale High School, Ferndale, California in 1994. He attended American River College in Sacramento, California for 2 years. Chris moved to San Francisco in 1999 and worked a variety of jobs. He then began his career with Home Depot in 2001 in Long Beach California before transferring to Coalinga, Santa Maria and then Sacramento, California. In 2020, Chris moved to Williamsburg, Virginia, also transferring to Home Depot.
Chris enjoyed camping, spending time at the beach at the Central Coast of California. Spelunking was something he did with his best friend as well as collecting rocks. Chris was an avid reader of fantasy and a gamer.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7pm on Thursday, March 13 at James City Community Church at 4550 Old News Road, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188.
