She was born on August 23, 1931, in Clifton, NJ to Joseph and Mary Mack. Connie attended St. Mary’s High School in Rutherford, NJ, Wilson College in Chambersburg, PA and art school in New York City. She worked with her beloved father as a textile artist at Golding Brothers in New York City, before starting her family. Later she worked as the office manager for her husband, Dr. Chester Glowacz, at their orthodontic practice in Caldwell, NJ.
Connie is survived by her loving children, Lisa (Mark) Wainwright and John Glowacz; granddaughter, Lindsay Wainwright; brother, Dr. Robert H. Mack; and nephews, Timothy and Richard Mack. She is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Chester Glowacz, and her parents Joseph and Mary Mack.
She will be remembered for her loving devotion to her family and friends, her gentle kindness and wit, and her lifetime love of literature as well as her artistic endeavors. Donations in her name may be made to Hospice House of Williamsburg, VA.
