

Born on September 23, 1944, in Doylestown, Ohio, Dale lived a life marked by dedication to family, craftsmanship, and the simple joys of time spent with loved ones. He was widely known for his kind heart, greeting everyone he met with a warm smile and a heartfelt embrace.
A proud graduate of Chippewa High School and a member of the Ohio National Guard, Dale went on to become a master carpenter known for his remarkable skill in remodeling and design. His artistry and attention to detail left lasting impressions in every project he touched. Dale’s passion extended beyond his work—he found great joy on the golf course, celebrating three holes-in-one over the years, and cherished watching his family grow and thrive.
Dale shared 57 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Judy Allison. Together, they built a life rich in love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, often enjoyed on trips with family and friends.
He is survived by Judy; his sons Tim Allison (Kelley), David Allison (Dina), and Kevin Allison (Whitney); and his cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Brittany, Julia, Caden, Emma, Jacob, and Connor. Dale is also survived by his siblings Bill Allison, Bob Allison, and Ruth Ann Sheppard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Mildred Allison, and his brother, Leon Allison.
Dale’s legacy of love, hard work, and artistry lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. His presence will forever be felt in the lives he shaped and the memories he leaves behind.
A celebration of Dale’s life will be held at The Reserve Clubhouse on January 9, 2025, from 1:00 -3:00 p.m., located at 100 Christopher Lane, Williamsburg, VA.
