

Daniel was a graduate from Brookline High School in Brookline, MA. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force following graduation; he then had a long time career in management of municipal water supply.
Previously a resident in West Yarmouth, MA, Daniel moved to Williamsburg in 2007. He was a member of the St. Stephen Lutheran Church, where he married his wife on January 28 of 2012.
Daniel is survived by his caring wife, Deloris Hanley; children by his first wife, Patricia, his son, Ian G. Hanley; daughters, Ryan Hanley and Melissa Goss; his brother, Gerald S. Hanley and his wife, Elizabeth; as well as many friends and family.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM, at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA.
