Debra Jean Jones

Debra Jean Jones, 57, of Williamsburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 24, 2017. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Alice Wilson; parents, Mary Lyon and Thomas Piggott; uncle, George Wilson; aunt, Elizabeth Brown; and great nephew Adren Garnett. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Terrence Jones; two sons, Tyrelle Jones of Williamsburg, Corey Jones (Patice) of Huber Heights, OH; one daughter, Tyesha Jones of Newport News; her grandchildren, Diajerne Lee, Markel Bagby, Jaden Jones, Jeremiah Jones, Jacori Jones, Tyrelle Jones, Jr., Kamiya Jones, Nyeshia Jones; one great grandchild, Treasure Armstrong; three brothers, Steven Wilson, Rodney Lyon (Erica), Timothy Lyon (Lakeesha); four sisters, Melissa Lyon, Reneé Brown (Kenneth), Barbara Lyon (K.B.), and Kinesha Lyon; special nieces, Connie and Kameka Safewright and Princess Dixon; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and many caring friends. Special thanks to Chris Barlow, Keisha Fox and Tammy Crawley. A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 pm on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Nelsen Funeral Home Chapel, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188 with the Rev. Morris Randall officiating. Family and friends are to assemble at Nelsen Funeral Home by 4:45 p.m. Viewing for Mrs. Debra J. Jones will be held from 6-8pm, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Nelsen’s Funeral Home.
