Ms.Todd was born in Tennessee on December 21, 1955. She was a life-long educator, having taught students with special needs for over 35 years. Most recently, she taught at Lafayette High School in Williamsburg, VA, for 25 years. She loved her students, and always referred to them as her “kids.” She loved her job, her co-workers, and the important work she did everyday. Whether it was dancing around her classroom with her students or taking them to ride horses at Dream Catchers, Ms. Todd loved watching her “kids” grow, and she was honored and proud to be their teacher. She retired from teaching in June 2019.
A celebration of life is currently being planned for later this spring, and details will be made public on Facebook and other social media outlets at a later date. Until then, please consider making a donation to your local Hospice House or to the Special Olympics in her honor.
