Ernest Lloyd Franken, 78, of Lanexa, passed away September 4, 2021. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rona Lee Franken; daughter, Paulla Miller; son, Howard Franken; and his second wife, Frances Franken.
For many years, Ernest worked as a master plumber before retiring from the Langley Air Force Base. He greatly enjoyed watching horse races and walking his dog, Lincoln.
Ernest is survived by his daughter, Ronalynn Lucas (Rodney); daughter-in-law, Stacy Franken; and two step-sons, Harry Shomaker and William Avant. He is also survived by grandchildren, Malyn Miller, Christian Tounzen, Colby Franken, Ayden Lucas, Paige Franken, Austin Lucas, Kyle Lucas, Carter Lucas; as well as several step-grandchildren.
