

He worked at the Hampton VA Medical Center proudly serving our Veterans; a life-time member as a volunteer AEMT, firefighter, and officer with the Smithtown Volunteer Fire Dept.; 17 years as an AEMT and officer with the Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps.; and R.N. for over 40 years.
Harold loved fishing with Ryleigh, sharing Viking shows with Ashleigh, swimming/biking with our Rosie (aka Allison), traveling with family, boating on the Long Island Sound, serving in his community as an ER nurse and through Fire Dept./EMS services; spending time with best friends, and partying ‘til dawn with our Smithtown neighborhood family.
He is survived by his wife, Jeannemarie Haynes-Clough; daughters, Ashleigh-Jean, Allison Rose and Ryleigh Elizabeth; brother, Carl Clough; mother-in-law, Priscilla Haynes; sisters-in-law, Priscilla Haynes and Donna Haynes; brother-in-law, Robert Haynes; nephews, Christopher Graf and Christopher Clough; and nieces, Danielle Haynes, Jessica Clough and Abigail Clough.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 4PM-8PM at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd, Williamsburg.
