She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Yarbrough; parents, Clewis and Ollie Leggitt; brother, Matthew Leggitt; and sister, Jean Del-Manzo.
Helen received her Teaching Certification from the Georgia College for Women and taught in Thomaston, GA for 3 years. During the 50’s and 60’s, she worked as a secretary for Pan American Airways. Helen enjoyed drinking coffee with friends, gardening, bowling, bridge, jigsaw and crossword puzzles.
Helen is survived by her son, Scott Yarbrough and his wife Sonia; daughter, Patricia Bailey and her husband Keith; and grandchildren, Alexandra and Phillip Bailey, Cybil, Chelsea, and Douglas Gabrish.

A service will be held at Patriots Colony, 6200 Patriots Colony Dr., Williamsburg, VA on Thursday, August 7 at 3:00PM.
