He was born in Streator, Illinois on 9/28/1959 to Barbara and Lawrence Conner.
He was an avid farmer from the time he was 10 years old until 1995 when he began working in Williamsburg as a construction foreman.
He was married 36 years to his childhood sweetheart, Jeanne Coop, who survives Joseph along with his father Lawrence Conner and 5 sisters, Shay (Tommy) Samuel, Donna (Johnny) Thompson, Beth (Linwood) Otey, Nancy (Dale) Smith, Debbie (Sean) Duff, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother Barbara.
A memorial service will be held at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Norge on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 11:00am.
