Judy Lynn Scarbro

Judy grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, where she developed her lifelong love of sunshine and peaceful moments by the seashore. She dedicated more than 20 years of her professional life to serving customers with a mutual fund company, known for her unwavering commitment to helping others. After retiring, Judy embraced every moment she could spend with her loved ones—especially her grandchildren—who were the joy of her life.

She is survived by her children: Erica Dovel and spouse Dakota; Elizabeth Reeh and spouse Austin; Emily McPhee; and Evan McPhee. She is also survived by her mother, Sandy Barr and spouse Tom, and her step mother Jackie Scarbro; her siblings Kim Wooten, and spouse Dean; Susan Meyer and spouse Mike; Richard Scarbro; and Michael Rouleau and spouse Brenda.

Judy will be remembered for her warm heart, her love of the beach, and her ability to find light in even the simplest of moments. Her legacy of love and family will live on in all who knew her.

A celebration of Judy’s life will be held on Wednesday, November 26 at 11:00 AM at Nelsen Williamsburg, located at 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, VA 23188.
