Katelyn was a proud graduate of KWHS and UMW. She was employed as a pharmacy tech at CVS and had worked PT at Food Lion. Always dedicated to her family, she shared many smiles and laughter with those close to her. Katelyn was ruled by her heart of gold. She loved to cook, shop, go to the beach and fish on her father’s boat but hated to clean her room.
Katelyn is survived by her parents Joseph Perger Jr (Meaghan) and Cheryl Sligh (John); Grandparents Joseph Perger, Sr (Janice) and Patricia Stewart; Sisters Lily, Leslie, Renee and Tabitha; Brother Charlie; Cousins Lauren, Hailey (and many others); Aunts Vicki and Elizabeth; Uncles John, Jerry and Matt; her closest friend Sarah; long time HS sweetheart Cody; and dog Base.
Katelyn will be forever missed by her family and friends. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
