

Leonard was a graduate of the University of Michigan. He worked as a Sales Manager for Campbell’s Soup Company, was an Account Executive for Top Value Enterprises and also worked in Sales and Marketing for National Research Bureau.
Leonard served in the Navy during WW II as a Combat Pilot and flew many combat missions in the South Pacific and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was also a devoted member of Hickory Neck Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta and his brother, Daniel
Leonard is survived by his wife of 58 years, Janice; his sons, Stephen and his wife Eunice, James and his wife, Kristina, and Johnathan; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Katharine and Jesse.
Viewing will take place on Tuesday, August 5, from 10 to 11am, at Hickory Neck Episcopal Church, 8300 Richmond Rd., Toano, VA 23168, with a service following at 11am. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
