Linda Utley Mulligan

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Mulligan.

Linda graduated from Virginia Tech in 1984 and marched with the Marching Virginias. She worked for the Department of Social Services as a Policy Program Consultant. Linda was a member of Walnut Hills Baptist Church where she enjoyed being in the choir. She also enjoyed motorcycling.

She is survived by her sons, Sean P. Mulligan and Colin J. Mulligan; her parents, Velma and Jimmy Utley of Blackstone, VA; mother-in-law, Olive C. Mulligan of Williamsburg, VA; and her siblings, Nancy P. Derrick (Bob) of Crewe, VA, Diana L. Perkinson (Montie) of Winston-Salem, NC, Donald A. Perkinson (Linda) of Blackstone, VA, Kathryn U. Green of Dinwiddie, VA and Jaye Utley of Blackstone, VA.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 7 from 6 to 8pm at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains, Rd., Williamsburg, VA. A service will take place on Friday, May 8 at 11am, at Walnut Hills Baptist Church, 1014 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA.
