Marie was a true one-of-a-kind. She had a low, cool, sassy voice. Once you heard her speak, you never forgot that voice and once you met her, you never forgot her either.
She was an independent woman before it was popular and she was the life of the party. Marie always had the best jokes and funny stories to keep us all laughing for hours....what wonderful memories.
The love she felt for her family was evident to all who knew her. She was the lioness of the family, always ready to defend and to stand up for us, and always there when needed. Marie was a mother to many and loved by all.
Her daughter Bonnie was the light of her life. They were best friends as well as confidants and shared an amazing love. Only when Marie became a grandmother did that special love grow to include Scott and Shane.
