Nancy Click Topping

Nancy Click Topping passed away on February 16, 2022. She was born in December of 1943 in Spartanburg, SC to W. Franklin Click and Beatrice Click Rowe. When Nancy was two years old, her family moved to Richmond.

Nancy was a graduate of James Madison University and a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She taught in Virginia schools for 34 years, 30 of which were in Reston, VA. In 2000, she retired and moved to Williamsburg with her devoted husband, Wayne N. Topping.

Nancy was a caring friend. She loved having her friends over for tea to share a laugh together. She found joy being outside tending to her garden, reading, bird watching and volunteering in the Fords Colony library which was such a fun experience for her.

In addition to her loving husband, Wayne, she is also survived by her sister, Frankie Harrington; and nephew, Michael Harrington and family.

At Nancy's request, no service will be held for her passing. Please go outside and enjoy the wonder and beauty of nature in her memory. She so loved her garden sanctuary.
