Utilizing the mechanical and plumbing skills he learned in trade school, Ron worked as a mechanic for HRSD, retiring after 34 years of service. In his retirement years, he also worked at Ace Hardware as a small engine mechanic.
Ron enjoyed fishing, hunting, and smoking meat. As a member of LifePointe Christian Church, he also enjoyed his Bible studies and praying with everyone he met. Above all else, he loved Jesus, his children, and all seven of his grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at LifePointe Christian Church on both Friday, March 27 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and Saturday, March 28 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. The service will be held March 28 from 2:00 – 3:00 PM, with a reception to follow.
Memorial contributions in Ron’s honor may be made to LifePointe Christian Church’s Outreach Programs (www.lifepointechristian.net).
