Alice Joan Ording Lott

Webberville, Michigan

Alice was born February 21, 1930 and went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 2, 2016 at the age of 86. Alice was the daughter of Raymond Barry and Mary Catherine (Fink) Ording.

She was a graduate from Williamston High School in 1947. Alice married the love of her life, Bill in 1948.

She was an active member of the St. Mary Altar Society, Webberville Garden Club, was a West Locke 4-H leader, and belonged to Friends of the Webberville Library. Alice loved doing crafts; sewing, quilting, gardening and cooking. Her door was always open, she was a friend to all and her love of people was without hesitation. She also enjoyed being a member of the Extension Club, All Color Tractor Club, St. Mary Quilters and the Webberville Women’s Advance Club.

Although these activities meant a lot to Alice, she was the happiest when she was surrounded by her loving family.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents, infant son John Matthew Lott, and sister Eva Cool. Surviving to cherish Alice’s memory are her husband Morris “Bill” Lott, children Marsha (John) Swain, Mark (Mary) Lott, Thomas Lott, Maureen (David) Wachter, Monica (Bill) Troshak, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-nine great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, sister Mary Kremer, brother Joseph (Nancy) Ording, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5th, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston. A remembrance will take place at 7 p.m., with the Rosary prayed at 7:30 p.m.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 6th, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 157 High St., with the Fr. Tom Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Per Alice's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary’s Catholic Church Capital Campaign Fund, or The Central Association Of The Miraculous Medal, 475 E. Chelten Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19144-5790.
