

Webberville
United in marriage for 80 years, were called home to be with their Lord and Savior, September 8 and 10, 2010. He was born in Washington, D.C. on August 24, 1911 to Richard and Molly McLeod. She was born January 13, 1913 in Sidman, PA to Josiah and Lydia Eash. Bain had retired after many years with the U.S. Postal Service. They were former members of Calvary Baptist Church in Webberville where he taught Sunday school and served on the deacon board. They were current active members of First Baptist Church in Williamston. Bain enjoyed carpentry work while Leota was a loving homemaker. Through their Christian witness, they touched many lives. They are survived by: 2 sons, Richard J. (Shirley) McLeod of Webberville and Ralph O. (Lisy) McLeod of Waxhaw, NC; 4 grandchildren, Shea Nystrom, Richard Scott McLeod, Rafael (Melanie) McLeod and Marianela (Greg) Leekley; 10 great grandchildren, Heather, Joshua, Inez, Wyatt, Corinne, Dyer, Eliza, Sadie, Weston and Bennett; 5 great-great grandchildren, Haley, Ave, Aden, Hunter and Jonathan and his sister, Elma Price. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Williamston, 3185 N. Williamston Rd, Williamston on Tuesday, September 14, 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Danny M. Cavin, officiating. Interment will follow in Alchin Farm Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St, Williamston on Monday, September 13, from 5-8 p.m. and at the Church on Tuesday 1-hour prior to the service.
