To Barb's family, I am thinking of all of you. I met Barb through or Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and just learned of her passing. She was such a lovely and kind lady. Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

We are thinking and praying for you all.  I had the privilege of getting to know Barb through being her next-door neighbor for almost 8 years.  In all respects, she was one of the most phenomenal people I have ever met - witty, loving, elegant, sincere, and the list goes on and on.  My daughters loved her immensely, and Barb was always open and so happy with their almost daily visits to herself and Tina.  She is greatly greatly missed and I feel so blessed and honored that we had time with her - she made a profound impact on my life, and also on each of my little girls' lives.

Barbara was such a "lady"     - Martin and I shared so many dinners with her but she especially loved Steaks & Shakes and even after moving to Virginia we often went out there for a burger and always thought of Barb and would e-mail and tell her so.  We only knew Mike of her children  but our sympathy extends to all her family and extended family.  Our love, thoughts and prayers surround you all.  What a "grand lady" she was.  Sadly missed

Dear Susie, Mark & Mike,
I think I only met your dear Mom once, and Mark & Mike as well. But, Susie and I shared a great trip to South Dakota with your grandma & grandpa (My Aunt June-Bug & Uncle Red) in the summer of 1973.  It was a trip I will never forget, we were a couple of "partners in crime", and I smile whenever I think of you, Susie! Our dear Babs Is gone. Our Mary Jane is greeting her as I write this. Our family  never got to spend much time with Babs,but we have lots of pictures from the days when she and I were young. Aunt June was real good about going to the Soo to see her sister Hazel, so Babs and I spent lots of good times together. We called each other Cuz and were favorite cousins. I'll miss her.

      I am your Mom's cousin, Mary Clare Ray Sylvester. I am so sorry to hear that your Mom has passed-away. She was a very special person & I loved visiting with her & catching-up on your families whenever we could . One time we visited & she told me about the time she was at the assisted living center where your dear Grandma , my Aunt June, was & it was your Mom's 65th birthday & her Mom didn't even know who she was & how awful that felt. So, I sent your Mom a Birthday card every year after that to make sure she was remembered & loved by me ! Unfortunately, my good friend just lost her husband to cancer on Sunday & I will be at the funeral home in Grosse Pointe Woods to be of support to her & her family.
