Betty J. Davidson Vorce

Hastings, Michigan formerly of Williamston, MI

Betty passed away on July 25th at the age of 84. She was born in Alma, MI to John and Sarah Davidson. Betty was a homemaker and wonderful mother to the eight children that she raised and loved. She worked as a house maid for 10 years and a nurses aide for 6 years, she was also senior companion volunteer. Betty loved to read and was a soap opera addict.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband Gaylord Vorce, sons, James Vorce and Gary Vorce and grandson Christopher Cornwell. She is survived by her daughters; Elizabeth (Ronald) Cornwell, Margaret Serrano, Susan Vorce, sons; Richard (Carol) Davidson, David (Tisa) Vorce, Sean (Nikki) Vorce, 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, brothers; Guy (Sherri) Davidson and Roy Davidson; sisters, Harriet Winnie and Midge Schurkamp, along with many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2014, with one hour prior visitation at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, Williamston Chapel, 205 E. Middle St. Williamston, MI 48995.
