

She was born on January 4, 1949, in Iron Mountain to the late Edwin and Marian (Trevillian) Palomaki. Cheryl graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1967 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Western Michigan University. She taught elementary school for over 30 years retiring from Fowlerville Kreeger Elementary, where she spent the bulk of her career.
Cheryl married Harry Moyle on April 3, 1971, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They had two sons, Nathan and Bradley. She was a sports enthusiast. Cheryl took great pride in following her two sons and four grandsons playing and coaching exploits. She also enjoyed following several college and professional sports teams and players.
Cheryl was a wonderful mother and grandmother and a kind, thoughtful person who will be greatly missed.
Cheryl is survived by her former husband Harry Moyle; two children Nathan (Jennifer Patchen) Moyle of Baton Rouge and Bradley (Elizabeth) Moyle of Williamston; two siblings Bob (Mary Ann) Palomaki of Iron Mountain and Joanne (Clark) Reid of Faithorn; four grandsons Olin, Tavis, Trent and Dexter Moyle, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday November 10 from 5 PM – 8 PM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in Williamston. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home in Williamston. Burial will follow at Summit Cemetery. Cheryl’s sons, grandson Olin and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
