Clarice enlisted in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was assigned to the National Security Agency, Ft. Meade, Maryland as an intelligence research technician. Clarice went on to work for the State of Michigan Department of Agriculture where she retired as an audit supervisor in the finance division. She was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 6464 in Fowlerville.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald on October 10, 2012, and her sisters Gwen Williams, Jeanette Pomarzynski and Sally Puckett. Surviving are her brothers Carl (Marcella) Nelson, Mike (Connie) Nelson, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Graveside Services with Military Honors will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 14th 2020 at Alchin Farms Cemetery in Webberville.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Grace Hospice for their compassionate care for Clarice.
