I worked with Dale for about 3 years. I considered him my work grandpa. Always sharing random facts and stories with me throughout the day. I learned a lot from Dale, from Pfos to his Glumpy adventures. I’m saddened to learn about his passing but find solace in knowing he’s with his wife again. My condolences to the family I’ve heard so much about. 💕

Our deepest sympathy to all Dales family and to all his brothers.  We spent a great New Years Eve with Dale last year.  He came over and stayed the night.  We had dinner, played cards and brought in the New Year together.  We were looking forward to having him over again this year.  Dale was also my Godfather and will be greatly missed. Our love to all the Corsi family.

I met Dale only in recent years through work, but I made a great friend through our meetings and trips visiting environmental cleanup sites. He was a very smart person and a very kind person and was always willing to talk about anything. We shared many meals together, visiting different brewery restaurants for a taste of local craft beers in Michigan, which was great for me coming from California.

On one work trip to Louisville, KY, I was fortunate to meet his wife and talk about their history and family. She was a great woman and it was clear that Dale loved her very much. Unfortunately she passed soon after and it was devastating to Dale. Occasionally, we would talk on the phone during COVID, the time of no work trips, and he would share how hard it was and say that it was his love and time with his family that was keeping him going. 
He was also a very physically strong person, always proud to remind me that he still mowed his lawn with a push mower. I am almost 20 years younger than Dale, but I would have said he was clearly in better shape than I; which makes his passing so shocking and such a surprise. 

I'm not a religious person, but I know Dale was, and the first thing I thought of when hearing about his passing, besides shock and grief, was that at least he is with his wife now in heaven. I really hope that is true and that they are happy together looking down with love on their family and friends. 

I worked with Dale and used to car pool to Ann Arbor with him. 
 There were 4 of us in his little white car that he loved so much because it got great gas mileage.  He always had such good stories to tell and we would laugh all the way to work.  He always had some baseball analogy it seemed.  We drifted apart when we both changed jobs and I truly regret not getting back together before his passing.  You always believe you have time.  My heart is sad today and thoughts and prayers are with his children.   Dale was a special man and will truly be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Dale on the Wurtsmith Project in Oscoda. He was always kind, courteous, and so thoughtful.  Whether he was helping with the sampling, carrying equipment, or just sitting on a cooler keeping me company in the rain, snow, sleet, and/or shine.  He shared so many memories and adventures he had with his family.  One year he was in Oscoda so often, that he joined our bowling league and most nights he carried the team (I'd give him a run for his money, but he always was the top score for our team).  His laugh and smile will always be remembered!!

Dale and I worked together on the Wurtsmith project in Oscoda, Mi for many years. He became a part of the community, joining a bowling league and participating in trivia night weekly. He loved giving tours and sharing the history. I have never met any of his children or grandchildren but feel like I know them all. Dale was so proud of all of them, he always had an update and photo to share. He loved traveling to see his family, they all gave him so much joy. He always tried to help in any way. Weather it was getting lunch, a hot drink in the cold weather or helping to carry the heavy equipment. Dale made my job easier and more fun. He was truly one of the good guys, and he will be forever missed by the Wurtsmith Team. I can only hope he will watch over us all and continue to guide us. Here is a group photo from 2019.

I worked with Dale for over 23 years and considered him a good friend. We played fantasy sports together and had many discussions about sports in general, along with many other good talks. He will be missed but he is reunited with his wife. May he rest in peace and condolences to the family.

Corsi Kids...Your father was a brilliant and kind man.  I loved working with him, he made my life better.

Dale was simply a great person!  I met Dale 21 years ago when he hired me for my first job as an engineer.  Dale has been a lifelong friend and mentor.  He had a fantastic sense of humor, a great knack for finding all the best restaurants, and played a mean game of euchre and cribbage.  Dale helped me grow as an engineer and person throughout the years and I am deeply grateful for his influence in my life.  He will be greatly missed.
