Keith "Pearl" Eugene Shear

Born November 23, 1957, the son of Herbert and Pearl (Southwell) Shear. Keith passed away unexpectedly on March 23rd 2013, at age 55. Keith was a graduate of Williamston High School, class of 1976. He enjoyed playing sports in school and loved watching the Spartans and Lions play. On a nice day you may have found him enjoying a round of golf or fishing. Those who knew Keith were well aware of his love for his family and especially his grandchildren who will miss him dearly. Keith was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Pearl, and nephew Tony Thornton. He is survived by his daughter; Sara (Mark) Hammig, brothers; Herbert (Julie) Shear, Thomas (Marian) Shear, sisters; Katie (Dallas) Thornton, Shirley (Jerry) Samson, two grandchildren; Zoë and Georgie Hammig, and nine nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Friday, March 29th at 11am at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St. Williamston, with Rev. Peter J. Clark officiating. The family will receive friends **Thursday 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow funeral service at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Williamston.
