Lillian Housepian passed away June 6, 2017 at the age of 95. She was born in Hamilton, Ontario on March 22, 1922. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Housepian; her parents George and Satenik (Melkonian) Mooradian; and her sister, Bea Buzbuzian.
She worked many years as a pastry chef and cook in Peppina’s Restaurant in Lincoln Park, MI. Lillian was a beloved Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers fan.
She is survived by her four sons: Vaughn (Susan), Dan (Kathy), Gary (Carla), and Michael (Becky); grandchildren: Matthew (Christy) Housepian, Elizabeth (Pat) Muoio, Mark (Sara) Housepian, Jaime (Jon) Stiansen, Leigh Housepian, Andrea Johnson, Natalie Johnson, Stephanie (Tariq) Johnson, Hadiya Housepian, Michael Housepian, Rachel Housepian, Sarah Housepian; 18 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Vi Buzbuzian, and many nieces and nephews.
The memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 15, at the Williamston Free Methodist Church at 1 p.m., with visitation for friends from 12 noon until time of service.
