Mark William Meranda was born February 17, 1966, in Goodrich, Michigan, to Mary (Cummings) and William W. Meranda. Bill Meranda preceded him in death. He went home January 22, 2016, at the age of 49, with his family at his side. Mark worked as a carpenter for 30 years. He graduated from Williamston High School in 1984. Surviving to cherish his memory are his mother, Mary of Williamston; sons, Matthew and Benjamin Meranda of Williamston; girlfriend, Cathleen Foreman of Williamston; sister, Susan (Russ) Dunn of Haslett; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Saturday, February 6,2016, at 1 p.m. at Crossroads United Methodist Church, 5491 Zimmer Road, Williamston, MI, with visitation two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made for the Meranda boys College Fund, to Mary Meranda, in care of Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Middle St., Williamston, MI 48895.
