Penny Harshbarger

Williamston, MI

Penny Leigh Harshbarger was born on February 14, 1958 and died on January 22, 2014 from cancer. Penny worked at both Dr. Beth Ann Faber of Williamston and the Michigan Athletic Club of East Lansing. She had also worked for Dr. Bob Watts of Williamston, house-sat for many families, and cared for many children and four-legged friends. Penny lived her life in Williamston, Mi, and graduated in 1976.

Penny is survived by her daughter Amanda James (John Boeckstiegel), son Matt James, mother Ardath Harshbarger, siblings Dan Harshbarger, Karen Hitchcock and Suzie Van Hal, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Penny will be remembered as the energizer bunny and as a friend to many with her quick giggle and friendly smile.

The funeral will be held Saturday January 25, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at the Williamston Free Methodist Church, 4400 N. Williamston Rd., with Rev. Doug Bradshaw officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 6-8pm at the church, and one hour prior to the service.
