Ronald Edwin Mead was born on October 13, 1932 in Lansing, Michigan, the son of Harold and Harriet (Burrows) Mead, and passed away August 27, 2012, at the age of 79. Ronald worked as a bricklayer for 41 years, and was a life long member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers local number 9.
Ronald was predeceased by his wife; Ieleen M. Mead in 1999, step-son Darwin Yeomans, sister Ethelyn Entemann, brother Elton Mead. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Janice (Charles) McGowan, sons Jim (Michelle) Mead, David Mead, two step-children, Sherry Peters & Steve Yeomans, 14 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, sister; Lois Mead, and many friends.
The family will receive friends at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Middle St. Williamston on Thursday, August 30, 2012, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. with funeral service at 1:00 P.M, officiated by Reverend Michael Black.
