Sandra Metzger passed away on July 28, 2014, from cancer, at the age of 73. Born Sandra Gates in Cleveland, Ohio on February 17, 1941, she moved with her family to Williamston, Michigan in 1979.
Sandy worked for many years in area insurance agencies Mauer-Foster, Bubolz, and Rathbun. She also was a long-time volunteer for the Williamstown Township Election Board and a member of West Locke Wesleyan Church.
Sandy is survived by her husband David, son Scott (Jennifer), daughter Kathy, granddaughter Eliana, brother Edmund (Karen), and stepchildren Michael (Tina) and Deborah, and grandson Timothy.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated by Rev. Michael Black at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014, at West Locke Wesleyan Church, 2652 Haslett Rd., Williamston, MI 48895 with visitation one hour prior to service.
