

Thomas “Tom” Fowler, was born March 17, 1953 to Kay and Samuel Fowler, and passed away February 8, 2015 at age 61. Tom graduated from Williamston High School and attended Lake Superior State University. While attending Lake State, Tom soloed his first airplane. Tom retired from operations at Holden Hall, Michigan State University, and was a member of the Hiawatha Sportsmen Club where he and his wife enjoyed boating, fishing, hunting, and the great outdoors.
Tom is preceded in death by his mother Kay and his wife Kathleen (Boardway) Fowler. Left to cherish in his memory are his father Samuel (Pat), and sisters Teresa Fowler and Karen (Charley) Lawler, nephew Stephen Lawler, niece Mackenzie Lawler, brother in law Jim (Mary) Boardway, Dr. Ron (Shelly) Boardway, nieces Ashleigh (Chad) Seppala, Emmaleigh and Natalie Boardway, nephew Evan Boardway, great nephew Keegan Sappala and great niece Kenley Seppala. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 6th, 2015 at 1pm at Union Plains Cemetery, Reed Rd., Byron, MI. Tom’s family would like to thank the staff at Crosaires Assisted Living in Williamston. The care, love and respect they gave Tom will never be forgotten. We will always hold Todd, John and Darla in our hearts with immeasurable gratitude.
