Wayne Miller

Wayne was diagnosed with cancer on December 4, 2024, and on Saturday morning, December 28, 2024, Wayne took his last breath and went home to live with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Wayne was born in Morristown, New Jersey on September 10, 1950, to Charles and Mary Miller. Wayne was a loving father to Pam Miller Fick, Kenneth (Amanda) Miller, Thomas (Amy) Miller, and Amanda Barbour; and step-children Raymond (Beverly) Anderson, Vicky (Harold) Chaney, and Ronda (Gregory) Sosinski. Wayne was a proud grandpa to nine grandchildren, six step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren, who dearly miss him.

Wayne worked for many years in manufacturing, where he made different automotive parts, for different automotive companies. Wayne took pride in his golf game and his wood working, and watering our flower garden and plants.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Chuck Miller, Irving (Bob) Miller, and Michael Miller; sister, Sue Miller; step-sisters, Betty Jo Powell and Evelyn Boyd, and granddaughter, Angel Miller. And survived by sister, Lisa (Floyd) Byron; step-sister, Francis Turner, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a devoted Christian who cherished his Bible and the teachings of Jesus Christ, where he and his wife Mary attended church, and took solace in knowing the Lord was watching over his family.

Wayne's favorite Bible verse was John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

A Celebration of Life will be held at Grace Pointe Baptist Church, 2567 Elm Rd Webberville, Michigan 48892 at 1:00 pm with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Luncheon will follow after service in the Fellowship Hall
