Dallas Gray Mizell

Dallas Gray Mizell, 87, died Tuesday September 7, 2010 peacefully at his home sitting in his favorite recliner. The funeral service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel with Rev Travis Wood officiating; burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr Mizell was born July 13, 1923 in Martin County son of the late Henry Dawson and Gladys Taylor Mizell. He was retired from N. C. Green Oil Company where he had worked for 39 1 /2 years as a delivery driver. He was a member of the West End Baptist Church.

On April 9, 1947 he married Easter Rogerson Mizell who survives. Survivors in addition to his wife are a son Donald Mizelle & wife Betty Jo of Bear Grass, daughters Marla M Mobley of Charleston WV, and Vivian M Roberson and husband Randy of Bear Grass, Brother Russell "Bunk" Mizell and wife Betty of Cary, sister Etles M White of Williamston, granddaughter Charlotte M Clark and husband Scott, grandsons Don Mizelle and wife Jenny, Jason Mizelle and wife Susan, Will Mobley, Brian Roberson and Justin Roberson, and Great Grandson Tyler Mizelle.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence 105 S. McCaskey Road.
